Dogs may be man’s best friend, but sadly they’re not always treated like a best friend should be.
Stray dogs around the world are left to fend for themselves, in a daily battle against disease, starvation and suffering. You can help ensure that these dogs are not forgotten, by giving a Really Wild Gift to your Dad this Father’s Day.
It’s a simple gift, but with an enormous impact, and you can help dogs like the two beautiful boys pictured, who have been cared for by WSPA Partner, Sierra Leone Animal Welfare Society.
Your gift can provide urgent veterinary care, vaccination against rabies, neutering to prevent further breeding and education for the local community. And of course it will make your Dad feel great to know he’s directly helped man’s best friend!
To give your dad a gift that will help dogs and other animals around the world, simply go to donate.wspa.org.au/reallywildgifts, choose your dad’s favourite animal, pick a gift amount, and send him the e-card. You can customize the card, and even arrange for it to arrive in his inbox on Father's Day. Prices start at just $20 and your donation is tax-deductible.
$20 - Could pay for a dog to be neutered at our mobile clinic, and provided with any veterinary treatment it needs
$40 - Could feed all the bears in the sanctuary in Pakistan for one day and provide them all the nutrition they require for good health and wellbeing.
$125 - Could help us provide all medical care in the sanctuary for one day including treating newly rescued ill and injured orangutans
Whatever you choose to buy, every WSPA gift you give this Father’s Day will help to create a world where animals matter and cruelty ends.
