Australasian Member Societies
WSPA believes the most effective solutions to international animal welfare problems are achieved by working with local groups who have the local knowledge and skills vital to success.
This belief saw the creation of the WSPA Member Society Network - the largest international federation of animal protection groups in the world. Hundreds of organisations or ‘Member Societies’ from all over the world make up the Network, ranging from large national organisations covering several welfare issues to small, specialist grassroots groups.
The WSPA Member Society Network offers support, guidance and technical assistance to address animal welfare issues on a local, national or international scale. Working jointly with WSPA, with one another and independently, Member Societies develop their organisations and find better solutions to animal welfare problems by sharing challenges, victories, solutions and ideas.
